It’s with excitement mixed in with a little apprehension that my bags are packed and I’m waiting for my “chauffeur “ to pick me up to go to the airport.
I’d like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that has sent cards and gifts. The outpouring of love and encouragement has not only touched my heart but filled an entire suitcase with nothing but cards!! I am so excited to begin opening and reading each one.
Please keep my brother, Areon (pronounced Aaron) and me in prayer as we travel today. Keep our families in prayer as there are sacrifices due to our absences over the next couple months.

Amy is 53 years old and lives in Louisville, Kentucky. Mom to five adopted children, now all adults. Amy has created this blogography as a place to be vulnerable about her life and facing infedility, incurable cancer and all of the ups, downs, ins and outs. Amy's life has been a rollercoaster ride. Through this blogography, Amy captures what can be some of the ugliest life circumstances, and with the Lord's help, finds the beautiful. In turn, she creates both short stories and pictures. Amy knows that just because life is rough and just down-right ugly sometimes, it doesn't have to stay that way. So, if you're seeking encouragement or a laugh, this is the blogography you'll want to subscribe to!

Praying for you and your brother, as you travel, today. Praying for the success of your treatment and the lives you will touch there. Praying for your families and that all needs are met and provided for. Praying for your return home, in a couple of months.
Love you, Amy!

Amy… so far away yet a sister in Christ. Praying for you more on this next leg of the journey. Thanks for your testimony for the faithfulness of our Lord who sees us and knows us. Today my cousin in Winnipeg begins her journey of chemo and radiation… she’s learning to get her eyes on the Lord and walk in trust through all that is ahead. thanks for teaching me how to pray. For her
