Day 8: Bone Marrow Biopsy

Just a quick update… this morning’s Bone Marrow Biopsy was completed with zero issues. Because of a low platelet count, they did have to pack it with special gauze but other than that it was really no big deal.

My brother, Areon, was so kind!!! Because I had to fast until after the biopsy, HE waited to eat until after the biopsy! Afterwards we ate a local favorite, Hollandberry Pannekoeken, known for their stuffed pancakes! Then it was back for another blood test. I’ve been in quite a bit of pain so I think we’re going to stay in for the remainder of the day.

My heart continues to be overwhelmed with special deliveries, cards and letters filled with love, encouragement but especially reminders of God’s promises!!

Love, Life and Cancer Ribbons, Amy

  1. Amy Anne, I been thinking about you since early this morning. So glad this part is over. I know it’s painful. Tell your brother he was a good boy waiting to eat breakfast. 🙂 Now, you know how I am and to tell you I am holy, well this is it, Praying, worry, worry. Love you both so much. Aunt Carol Anne ❤️ ♥️
